How to compare prices across regions.

For a useful price comparison, match the item, seller and delivery conditions.

Record the product, currency, offer conditions, source and time alongside each price.

Start with the same offer

Check the product ID, variant, pack size, condition and seller. Two listings with a similar name can represent different offers. Keep promotion conditions alongside the displayed price.

A membership price, coupon or minimum-order discount should be labelled as such. Missing data and access errors are not zero prices.

Check the other location settings

A storefront may also use a delivery destination, account, saved cookie or manually selected region. Keep these inputs consistent when comparing markets and record any difference.

Shipping and tax may only appear later in the purchase process. Record the price shown on the page. Using an IP in that country does not mean the price includes delivery and tax.

Decide how often to check prices

Choose an interval that matches how often the team needs fresh information. Date each observation so you can tell a price change from a change of seller or variant.

Test a small set of public pages in the actual tool before expanding. USM provides proxy connectivity; your browser or collector handles extraction and reporting.
